The synthesis of gibberellic acid methyl ester (6) from gibberellic acid derivatives (2) has been reported. The structures of the obtained intermediates and target products (3) ~ (6) were confirmed by1H NMR, 13CNMR, MS and high resolution mass spectrometry.
