本文要说一件《工人日报》碰上的“新闻官司”:1995年初,《工人日报》和《中国保险报》报道了江苏淮阴淮海大酒店职工对店方不公待遇的抗议,由此入手,又涉及该店假合资、国有资产被侵吞流失等问题。该店法人代表王中下状告两报侵害酒店名誉权。本案审理期间,报上揭露的问题引起了检察机关的重视,经侦查,查明王中下和他的同伙有重大经济犯罪嫌疑,予以逮捕。事实证明,两报的新闻批评完全正确,根本不存在什么名誉侵权,这场“新闻官司”当
