温度测量通常采用水银温度计、热电偶、热敏电阻及铂电阻等感温器件,这些器件的测量范围都很宽,而且灵敏度也很高,获得极广泛的应用。例如颠倒温度计已沿用一百年了,至今仍广泛应用于海洋调查中。但是,水银温度计防压性能差,又不利于连续自记;热电偶要求有冷端温度补偿,精密测量不方便,热敏电阻极不线性,不利于刻度;铂电阻昂贵,难于广泛采用。
