《倾听乡亲心里话》这幅照片是1959年6月26日在韶山拍的。1959年6月,我随罗瑞卿副总理到湖南搞调查,25日到达长沙。湖南省委书记周小舟告诉罗瑞卿,毛主席已从北京来到长沙两天,下午就要回故乡韶山。罗瑞卿也很想将近来在湖南了解的情况向毛主席报告并听取指示,就决定随毛主席到韶山去。我是个摄影爱好者,这次能有机会给毛主席照些像,当然很高兴。经周小舟报告毛主席后,我们也就于当天下午到了韶山。毛主席自1927年1月离开韶山后到这次回来,已过了32年了。他看到故乡有了很大的变化,很高兴。他下午找干部谈话,当晚就在招待所写下了有名的诗篇《到韶山》。26日清早,毛主席一起床就往山上走,连警卫员也不知道他去哪里,只得
