19世纪前期,为了满足民用国需,越南阮朝采取较为灵活的外贸政策,以对华贸易为主导,发展东南亚地区国际贸易,并与西方国家保持一定的通商关系,对外贸易一度较为活跃,但由于受自身社会经济结构限制和传统农本思想的影响,以及对西方殖民入侵的戒备心理,这一时期越南参与东南亚地区乃至世界贸易的程度和规模都极其有限。
In the early 19th century, in order to meet the needs of civil countries, Vietnam’s Nguyen took a more flexible foreign trade policy, guided its trade with China, developed the international trade in Southeast Asia and maintained some trade and economic relations with the western countries. Foreign trade was once relatively active. However, Influenced by the limitation of its social and economic structure and the traditional agricultural thinking, as well as the alertness of the colonial invasion of the West, the extent and scale of Vietnam’s participation in Southeast Asia and even the world trade during this period were extremely limited.
