一、“船背”应解释为“船底” “其船背稍夷,则题名其上……”一句中的“背”字,《辞海》中有两种比较接近的注释:一是“脊背”,二是“后面”。课本采用了前一种,将“船背稍夷”译为“船的顶面稍平”,将“背”解释成“顶面”了。这样解释不符合文意,理由有三: (一)这里的“背”应取《辞海》中“后面”一说为宜,即“物体的反面”。《周易》王弼注曰:“背者,无见之物也。”意思是说“背”就是看不到的地方,而核舟的顶面一眼就能看到。故不能把“船背”解释为“船的顶面”。 (二)“背”本有反面之意。《核舟记》把船的中、
