“英雄之旅”叙事模式中的“非常世界”:心魔幻境、怪物与救赎

从远古神话到当代电影,“英雄之旅”这种叙事模式始终“提供能够引领人类心灵前进的象征”[1]——英雄接受冒险召唤,离开正常世界,跨越边界进入非常世界,在那里遇到考验、伙伴和恋人,通过磨难最终获得报酬并回归.[2]“非常世界”究竟呈现何种面貌,千百年来,叙事几乎穷尽了所有可能性,从神魔领地到职场竞争,从太空征服到地下蚁穴,从杳无人烟的沙漠、森林、海洋到人潮汹涌的都市街道.近年来,上天入地的“审美疲劳”之后,创作者转向了人类心灵世界,尤其是在意识的冰山一角之下,暗流涌动的个人和集体无意识的地盘,并通过梦境、幻境等方式勾勒.荣格指出:“人类的精神是我们经验中最黑暗和最神秘的领域之一”.[3]那些“不恰当的愿望和幻想,童年的影响,被压抑的欲望”[4],我们虽拒绝保留,却将其潜抑入无意识底层.而在更深处,存在着“以原型或先祖流传下来的类型作为形式的集体性质的东西”[5],即集体无意识.心魔,即古老意象与被压制的个人记忆、欲望混杂的产物,幻化出绚丽诡异的奇境,在此英雄遭遇怪物,但也拯救受难生命,并让正常世界获益.
