日本钢管公司京浜厂电炉炼钢车间设有50 t电弧炉、VOD和VAD装置,用来生产无缝管用和厚板用的不锈钢和高合金钢,月产量4000~5000 t。过去为了使炉内钢水温度和成分均匀化,在电炉炉底装设了电磁搅拌器(容量为400 kVA),但这种搅拌器的搅拌力不高,往往使电炉中有残存废钢、铬还原不良、电弧传热不均匀、炉渣渣化不良以及由此引起的各种操作上的问题。为解决这些问题,在电炉车间引进了电炉底吹搅拌技术,即在电炉底部配置3个底吹风口,搅拌气体使用氩或氮。各风口可独立进行气体流量的控制,每个风口的最大气体流量为300 L/min。风口型式为埋藏多根不锈钢细管(内径1 mm)的多孔透气塞,材质为镁碳质耐火材料。该种风口取代了过去装设在电弧炉上的电磁搅拌器。

This tuyere replaced the electromagnetic stirrer previously installed on the electric arc furnace.
