2006-2007年度暨第五届中国杰出营销奖于2007年3月下旬启动,面向公众进行公示,进行案例的公开征集,经组委会审核参赛资格后,产生初选提名名单:经过汇总参加初评的九位评委对所有初选入围提名案例的打分和排位结果,得出综合排名及入选案例名单:9月14-16日在北京举行的分类赛以现场竞赛形式决出每类一等奖1名,二等奖2名,三等奖3名,优秀奖2名,分类前三名(一、二等奖)共9名参与总决赛:总决赛于9月28日在北京举行,共设金奖1名,银奖2名,铜奖3名,优秀奖3名,及最佳成效奖、最佳创新奖、最佳传播奖、最佳渠道奖、最佳产品奖、最佳代言人奖等单项奖各1名:经过激烈角逐,最终比赛结果如下
