A small book standard, but generally 2.5 × 3.5 square centimeters, actually in a book about 18 to 30 cm high on the spine, can not find a suitable place to paste. Can this book mark in the end posted in what position? Up to now, each library or go its own course. Comrade He Jianxin put forward in his article “On the Location of Bookmarks and Paste” (“Library and Information Service”, No. 1, 1989): “It is most scientific and practical to label the book on the spine of the book.” In his article entitled “Discussion with He Jianxin” (“Library Information Work”, No. 2, 1990), the article states: “It is more scientific and feasible to stipulate the location of bookmarks at a distance of 5 millimeters from the lower end of the spine.” Although the above two articles From different perspectives put forward their own reasons, but I do not agree with their views, here, with He, Shen two comrades.
