湖南省少数民族英语专业学生主要集中在吉首大学外国语学院,其生源主要来于湘西地区。本文以教学实践为基础,以湘西民族地区学生在学习外语中存在问题为例,论述了由于地处湘西,少数民族学生的义务教育状况、知识阅历、外语基础、智力开发、能力发展等都有别于其他地区的学生。因此,开发智力、拓宽能力是培养少数民族专业外语人才教育过程中的重中之重。
Minority English majors in Hunan Province are mainly concentrated in the School of Foreign Languages, Jishou University, whose students come mainly from western Hunan. Taking the teaching practice as the foundation and the existing problems of the students in the study of foreign languages as an example, this paper discusses that due to the situation of the compulsory education, knowledge experience, foreign language foundation, intelligence development and ability development of minority students in Xiangxi, Different from other regions of the students. Therefore, the development of intelligence and broadening of ability are the most important tasks in cultivating professional foreign language talents for ethnic minorities.
