The two biographies of Canadian bilingual writer Li Yan, “Red Float” and “The Seabed”, have completed their leap from recalling motherhood, rejecting white culture to portraying new Chinese immigrants and living in harmony with white society. Through the appearance of literary creation, the theme behind the theme changes is actually the Chinese culture and Canadian mainstream white culture from the conflict against each other, towards reciprocal equivalence; also reflects the cultural repair function: from the early immigrants through the motherland’s spiritual comfort Abandonment of Culturally Oppressive Thinking and Cognition and Reflection on Humanity in Multi - cultural Background.
