转腰功是我国的一种传统体疗方法,比较简单,易于掌握。用于治疗习惯性便秘及肠功能紊乱等,收效较显著。造成习惯性便秘的原因很多,例如长期坐着工作,缺乏体育运动或体力劳动,生活不规律,大便无定时,含纤维质食物吃得少和喝水少,等等。但是其中最主要的原因还是长期缺乏运动,致使协调排便的肌肉(如膈肌、腹肌、提肛肌)收缩力减弱,肠管蠕动力量减小,食物残渣在肠腔内滞留时间太长,水分过多地被吸收,致大便干燥坚硬,造成大便秘结。而转腰功正是通过自身的运动,加强腰、腹、盆腔等部份肌肉的锻练,促使腹壁肌肉力量增强,肠液分泌增加,而增强肠蠕动,使肠管运动转向正常,排便比较容易。同时,对肠功能紊乱也有一定的治疗作用。
