With the deepening anti-corruption struggle in our country and the secretive manipulation of the forms and means of duty crimes committed by state agencies, dereliction crime is increasingly becoming a key, hot and difficult issue for procuratorial organs in cracking down their post crimes. According to statistics, from January 1998 to October 1999, 35,852 criminal cases of dereliction of duty and infringement were accepted by procuratorial organs nationwide, with a preliminary examination of 3,003 cases and 8,762 cases of investigation and prosecution.
