硫磺探针示波技术(SPOT)作为测量水中冲击波速度的一个新技术已经得到发展。与普遍使用的压电传感器或者高速摄影等其它技术不同,对于测量有限范围的冲击波压力,这个技术的应用不受限制。把用这个技术测量的几种常用炸药的爆轰压力和用其它方法在别处测量的结果进行对比,说明它的用途和精度。这个新技术测出的水中冲击波速度的大小在2%的精度范围内。
Sulfur Probe Oscillography (SPOT) has been developed as a new technique for measuring the velocity of shock waves in water. Unlike other commonly used piezoelectric sensors or high-speed photography and other technologies, for the measurement of a limited range of shock wave pressure, the application of this technology is not limited. The detonation pressure of several commonly used explosives measured by this technique is compared with the results measured elsewhere by other methods to demonstrate its purpose and accuracy. The new technique measures the magnitude of the shock wave velocity in water at 2% accuracy.
