折叠波导慢波结构具有高功率、宽频带、高增益等优点。作为高频、大功率、宽频带微波源的慢波电路具有巨大的应用潜力。与单注折叠波导行波管相比,多注折叠波导行波管能够进一步提高行波管的增益。一般多注折叠波导行波管各级之间空隙很大,增加了行波管重量,如何减轻其重量是当前面临的一大难题。本文从多注折叠波导行波管基本结构出发,考虑各级折叠波导行波管之间的连接方式,设计了一种新的三注级联折叠波导行波管。通过HFSS软件对新结构进行仿真分析,结果表明该结构具有良好的输入输出特性。该设计不仅克服了管子加工长度上的困难,而且降低了三注级联折叠波导行波管对尺寸的要求,使行波管的结构更紧凑,适用于要求重量轻的场合。
Folded waveguide slow-wave structure with high power, wideband, high gain and so on. As a high-frequency, high-power, broadband microwave source slow wave circuit has great potential applications. Compared with a single-folded waveguide traveling wave tube, the multi-folded folded waveguide traveling wave tube can further increase the gain of the traveling wave tube. In general, multifold waveguide waveguides have a large gap between all levels, which increases the weight of the traveling wave tube. How to reduce the weight is a major challenge currently faced. In this paper, starting from the basic structure of multifold folded waveguide TWTs, a new type of TWF TWTs is designed considering the connection between the folded DWTs. The HFSS software simulation analysis of the new structure, the results show that the structure has good input and output characteristics. The design not only overcomes the difficulties of pipe length processing, but also reduces the size requirement of the three-note cascaded waveguide TWT so that the TWT structure is more compact and suitable for applications requiring light weight.
