阅读教学是英语教学中的重要组成部分,同时,也是学生的薄弱环节。如何提高学生的阅读水平是高职院校英语教师最为迫切需要解决的问题。结合高职英语阅读教学的现状,从图式理论的基本概念及其分类入手,分析将图式理论应用到英语阅读教学的可行性,进而达到提高学生阅读水平的教学目标。
Reading teaching is an important part of English teaching and it is also a weak link for students. How to improve students’ reading level is the most urgent problem to be solved by English teachers in higher vocational colleges. Combining with the current situation of English reading teaching in higher vocational colleges, starting from the basic concepts and classification of schema theory, this paper analyzes the feasibility of applying schema theory to English reading teaching, and then achieves the goal of improving students’ reading comprehension.
