一.在加强基本生产技术教育的方针指导下去年春天我校在加强基本生产技术教育的方针下,领导学生进行了许多试验。其中,也进行了番藷(或称甘薯、白薯)架蔓栽培试验。到了11月11日收获对照区的番藷,刈蔓后,见地皮崩裂,挖掘出很大的薯块,颇令人满意,并且作法简单,特把它写出来。二.整地施肥栽苗搭架和管理连对照区共规划了3个小区,每个小区的面积为90平方尺(合0.015亩)。在整地前,各施牛马廐肥90斤。然后用铁锹整地约7寸深,用耙耙平,等候栽种。5月9日由市上购来番藷苗一束,分别斜插在各小区内,每区插苗18棵,平均每棵营养面积为5平方尺。在对照区内,当苗长到2尺左右时,用细竹杆架,把薯苗用细蔴绳绑到架上,其后每隔相当天数整理一次。
