艾伯特·史怀哲(AlbertSchweitzer,1875-1965),法国著名的哲学家、神学家、医学家、音乐家,“非洲之父”,1952年诺贝尔和平奖获得者,20世纪划时代的人道主义者。他二十五岁就获得神学和哲学博士。二十九岁时,他放弃了蒸蒸日上的学术地位和演奏生涯,重新进入医学院学习。1913年,史怀哲完成心愿后,携妻子海伦(Helene)远赴法属的赤道非洲,建立了史怀哲医院,为非洲人民奉献爱心。在

He received his Ph.D. in theology and philosophy at the age of 25. At the age of twenty-nine, he gave up his thriving academic position and playing career and re-entered medical school.
