INTRODUCTION The dynamic response of a leaf rotating at a high speed in a turbomachine is a subject of advanced gas turbines with the advent of steam turbines. Because the number of blades and the weight of the disk largely determine the weight of the entire engine, reducing the weight of a leaf and increasing its strength have become a very important part of modern advanced propulsion systems. To do this, the issue of the possibility of strong vibrations of the leaf-plate system has been greatly enhanced by the coupling of the low aspect ratio blades to the light-weight disks. Due to the complexity of these forms of vibration response,
