虽然英语在中国课堂内早已是一门必修科目,但是我国EFL学习者的英语水平却长期处于欠发展状态。这一现象在一定程度上和学习者深层学习动机的缺乏不无关系。立足于我国现有的EFL教学环境,本文提出英语教师应通过“准备期—发展期—自我调控期”三阶段的教学工作来促使学习者的学习动机由表层向深层的转变,从而达到高度的自我调控阶段。
Although English has long been a compulsory subject in Chinese classrooms, EFL learners in our country have been under-developed for a long time in English. To a certain extent, this phenomenon is not unrelated to the lack of learner’s deep motivation to learn. Based on the current EFL teaching environment in our country, this paper proposes that English teachers should promote the learning motivation of learners from the surface to the deep through the three stages of “preparation-development period-self-regulation period” so as to achieve High degree of self-regulation stage.
