Poly (NIPAm / maleic anhydride) copolymer nano-particles were investigated by dynamic laser light scattering in different pH buffer solutions and in potassium chloride or ionic surfactants (sodium dodecyl sulfate and DTMAB) In the body phase transfer. The ionized maleic anhydride groups were found to confer pH and electrolyte sensitivities to the particles. When the copolymer pH> pKa, most of the negative charge from the COO ~ - group electrostatic repulsion is to prevent particles in the T> T tr shrinkage of the leading mechanism. Reduce the pH of the medium or add a cationic surfactant to make negative
