唐代刘禹锡(772—842)不仅是我国古代著名诗人哲学家,亦是一位颇有抱负的政治改革家及造诣深厚的书法家;同时也是一代名医。他生于洛阳,真可谓是一位多才多艺的“洛阳才子”了。 刘禹锡少年时就爱上了医学。经过多年的刻苦钻研和实践,他掌握了一套较为高明的医术,并在医学研究中作出了一定成就。这方面较为突出的是他在唐元和十三年(818)编著的《传信方》一书。
