6月11日,联想推出低端服务器新品万全1600,这是一款拥有自主知识产权的国产品牌服务器,该产品的采用了联想自行设计、研发制造的QDI服务器专用主板,结构设计和系统设计均由联想自主开发,并拥有多项服务器设计专利。万全1600采用了自主设计研发的服务器主板,该主板集成了Ultra160 SCSI控制器、Intel 10/100M网络控制器和ATI AGP图形显示控制器。同时在设计中采用了133Mhz系统前端总线,带来了系统处理能力15％的提升。万全1600具有良好的系统扩展功能,主板在扩展插槽上除了5个PCI扩展槽,还有一个ISA插槽。
