Reviewing the research progress of silicon luminescence and summarizing various recent methods and advantages and disadvantages of silicon luminescence, including single crystal silicon, nanocrystalline silicon, Er-doped silicon nanoclusters, Si / Ge quantum cascade structure, THz emission and Silicon stimulated Raman scattering and other methods, and introduced in detail the recent structural design of Si Raman lasers, experimental devices and their spectrograms and other new breakthroughs.
