他好学,是个聪明人。——这是四十年前,拜“泥人张”学艺的郑于鹤,给我留下的印象。如今,他虽然还是那么爽朗,朝气不减当年,但毕竟是鬓发飞霜了。我对他的认识,自然也比过去的那点印象要深入得多。郑于鹤很善于去发现美和表现美;他更懂得如何把握并大胆自如地突出装饰美的种种意趣。正因为他具有这样的艺术秉赋,再加上数十年如一日地刻苦劳作,在坚持以严肃态度献身于艺术的同时,也严肃地塑造了他自己,成为一个城实的、有才华的雕塑家。大概是六十年代初,我在北大荒一个劳改农场的半间小图书室里,从一份过期的《人民画报》上
He is a smart person. - This is the impression I made four years ago when Zheng Yuhe, a student of clay figurines, worshiped me.
