9月21日,国务院召开的全国水利工作会议在京闭幕。李鹏总理在会上指出:“兴修水利,造福人民,是各级人民政府的重要职责。重视水利事业,加快大江大河的治理,不仅是今年和明年的任务,也是整个‘九五’期间和今后长期的任务。” 朱镕基副总理主持了闭幕大会。李岚清、温家宝、宋健、李贵鲜、陈俊生等领导同志出席了会议。
On September 21, the State Council held a national water conservancy conference in Beijing. Premier Li Peng pointed out at the meeting: “Building water conservancies and benefiting the people is an important responsibility of the people’s governments at all levels. Leaders including Li Lanqing, Wen Jiabao, Song Jian, Li Guixian and Chen Junsheng attended the meeting.
