望奎县档案局(馆)成立于1958年4月,是县政府直属的具有行政职能的参照公务员法管理的全额拨款的事业单位,设有人秘股等5个股室,核定人员编制11名,履行着档案事业行政管理和档案保管利用的职能。望奎县档案局(馆)新馆于2012年投入使用,面积为2 800平方米,其中库房面积为1 900平方米,现有馆藏量80 000余卷(册)。馆内设施齐全,功能完备,管理先进。
