记忆是伫蓄知识的仓库。勿论从事何种学科研究,都不能排除必要的记忆。对于历史课的学习,记忆更具有重要的意义。部颁《中学历史教学大纲》就明确指出,在历史教学中,“教师应要求学生……记忆必要的历史事实和年月日、朝代名称和顺序等”历史知识。中学是打基础的阶段,帮助学生加强记忆是十分必要的。为了做好这个工作,我曾经摸索着用过一些方法,如编歌诀、制卡片、出谜语等等,也收到了一定的效果,但是学生旋记旋忘,并不牢固,特别是遇到考试时,不会答题,记的历史知识多半用不上。为什么呢?因为那些方法不治本,要学生勉强记得的只是一些零碎的历史知识,而不能使学生系统全面地掌握所学历史知识。所以我们要求,学生一定要把记忆建筑在理解的基础上。那么,在中学阶段解决这个问题的主要途经,还是要通过课堂教学。根据个人的教学实践,我认为解决好学生记忆上的困难问题,课堂教学中一定要做到三点一练。

Why? Because those methods do not cure the problem, it is only students’ reluctance to remember some fragmentary historical knowledge, which can not enable the students to systematically grasp the historical knowledge they have learned. So we ask, students must build their memories on the basis of understanding. Well, the main way to solve this problem in middle school stage is through classroom teaching. According to personal teaching practice, I think that to solve the problem of students’ memory difficulties, we must do a good job in class teaching.
