In 2001 due to good domestic economic situa-tion,consumption of aluminium kept increas-ing.The government encouragement on thetechnical renovations of the aluminium industryand its tax policy adjustment on the import ofaluminium ingot in the form of boarder tradetogether with the large price drop of alumina onthe world market all contributed to a stable d o-mestic market.
