In recent years, the number of Chinese immigrants from mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan has been at the forefront of the large cities such as Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in Australia. Even in some primary and secondary schools in these cities, Chinese migrant children account for three One-third or so. These new Chinese immigrants never forget that they are “offspring,” but their children have been educated in the West since they only knew Australian culture but did not understand Chinese culture. In these families, a cultural ditch between the western culture and the Chinese culture has emerged between the children and their parents.
