一九五五年四月,包括中国政府在内的一些第三世界国家在印尼万隆举行亚非会议(又称万隆会议),国务院总理兼外长周恩来率团赴会。四月卅日,我外交部所包租的一架印度航空公司星座式喀什米尔公主号客机,自香港飞往雅加达途中,突然在北婆罗洲沙捞越附近上空爆炸,机上十七名乘客罹难,仅有三名机组人员获救。 关于四十年前这次空难事件的真相,英国牛津大学圣安东尼学院的曾锐生先生曾写成长文,去年九月在《中国季刊》上发表。不久前,台湾《中时周刊》予以转载,披露了一九五五年国民党特务为暗杀周恩来总理而制造的喀什米尔公主号空难的始末。本报现据《中时》摘载如下。
In April 1955, some Third World countries, including the Chinese government, held an Asian-African conference (also known as the Bandung Conference) in Bandung, Indonesia. Premier Zhou Enlai, the foreign minister of the State Council, led a delegation to attend the meeting. On April 30, an Indian Airlines constellation Passenger Kashmir, chartered by the Foreign Ministry, entered Hong Kong on its way to Jakarta and suddenly exploded over the vicinity of Sarawak, North Borneo, killing 17 passengers on board. Only three crew members rescued. About the truth about the plane crash 40 years ago, Mr. Zeng Ruisheng of St. Antony’s College, Oxford University wrote an essay and published it in China Quarterly in September last year. Not long ago, Taiwan’s “China Times” reprinted it and disclosed the story of the crash of Princess Patam in 1995 made by the KMT agents in assassination of Premier Zhou Enlai.
