Boston’s construction engineers designed a new building that relied on the recycling of computers, the heat of coffee makers, and the heat of 2,000 people working in the building. It had three concrete pools with a capacity of 250,000 gallons built on the ground floor. During the day, hot air is drawn into the pipe by the fan and exchanged with the cold water pipe in the pool, so that the temperature of the cold water rises, and the water temperature is further increased by the compressor and stored.
