现代传媒业具有事业和产业的双重属性。一方面,作为党和政府的喉舌,媒体毋庸置疑地应当遵循新闻传播规律,坚持正确舆论导向,把社会效益放在第一位,承担起自己的社会功能;另一方面,作为文化信息产业,又需要按照市场规律,根据现代产业制度的要求,通过实现良好的经济效益,来做大做强自己。怎样准确地把握精髓,正确处理媒体社会效益和经济效益的关系,是市场经济条件下各级传媒机构及其领导时时需要面对的问题。
The modern media industry has the dual attributes of career and industry. On the one hand, as the mouthpiece of the party and government, the media undoubtedly should follow the law of news dissemination, adhere to the correct orientation of public opinion, give top priority to social benefits and assume their own social functions. On the other hand, as a cultural and information industry, In accordance with the laws of the market, according to the requirements of the modern industrial system, we must make ourselves bigger and stronger by realizing good economic returns. How to accurately grasp the essence and properly handle the relationship between the social benefits and economic benefits of the media is a problem that needs to be faced by media organizations and their leaders at all levels under the conditions of a market economy.
