对不同的载体(HZSM-5、Al2O3、SiO2和MgO)担载不同过渡金属氧化物的甲烷非氧化气氛下转化成苯和C2--烃的反应进行了研究,结果发现这些催化剂的反应性能差异很大。载体的酸性越强,甲烷的转化率越高,苯的选择性也越高。HZSM-5担载的第一过渡金属氧化物(从V2O5到ZnO),只有V/HZSM-5和Zn/HZSM-5才有明显的催化活性,而其担载的Cr、Mn、Fe、Co、Ni、Cu的相应氧化物几乎没有活性。HZSM-5担载的过渡金属如Re、W、Mo和V等的高价态氧化物都表现出很好的甲烷转化活性。
