Recently, a subsidiary of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, a domestic unit, took the lead in establishing a transitional ring for heavy rocket storage tanks by using the overall forging method. It broke through the key technologies of ultra-large diameter forging and was the first in China and even in the world. This marks that the heavy rocket has broken the biggest bottleneck problem and laid the foundation for the smooth development of the subsequent heavy rocket development.
