今年8月,中宣部、教育部、国家民委联合发出《关于在学校开展民族团结教育活动的通知》,要求各级各类学校进一步加强学校民族团结教育工作。高校一直是民族团结教育工作的一个重要组成部分。教育部高度重视在高校开展民族团结教育工作,加大了高校思想政治理论课中民族团结教育内容的教学力度,将民族团结教育作为“形势与政策”课教育教学重要内容,纳入《2009年下半年高校“形势与政策”课教育教学要点》;调整思想政治理论课教学计划,在“思想道德修养和法律基础”、“毛泽东思想和中国特色社会主义理论体系概论”等课程中加大民族团结教育内容。同时,加强辅导资料建设和师资队伍的培训。继续加大对民族问题研究的支持力度,在教育部哲学社会科学重大课题攻关项目中设立专项课题,有针对性地开展专项研究。这一期我们介绍各地高校深入开展民族团结教育活动的情况,希望能为教育系统开展民族团结教育活动提供借鉴和启示。

Colleges and universities have always been an important component of the national unity education. At the same time, strengthen the construction of counseling materials and training of teachers. We will continue to increase our support for the study of ethnic issues and set up special subjects in the major topics of philosophy and social sciences of the Ministry of Education to carry out special studies in a targeted manner. In this issue, we briefed colleges and universities on conducting in-depth national unity education activities and hoped that they would provide reference and inspiration for the education system to carry out national unity education.
