啃轨是起重机的车轮轮缘与轨道的侧面接触,在运行过程中产生摩擦与磨损的一种现象。啃轨的危害:1.降低车轮和轨道的使用寿命。2.增加运行阻力,迫使运行电动机和传动机构长期超载运行,可能造成烧坏电动机或扭断传动轴的后果。3.起重机工作时噪声大,振动大。4.损害房梁结构;起重机啃轨必然会在运行中产生水平侧向力,使厂房结构承受附加的横向载荷而遭受不同程度的损坏。5.起重机在行驶中突然脱轨,造成重大的设备、人身伤亡事故。
