恩格斯曾指出:“世界不是一成不变的事物的集合体,而是过程的集合体”的思想,是一个“伟大的基本思想”;并认为特别是从黑格尔以来,“这个伟大的基本思想”已经“深入一般人的意识”.①由此,我们往往习惯于把近代以来尤其是现代的主流哲学称之为“过程哲学”,而以“实体哲学”一词概括前此哲学的本质特征.以两个范畴标志两类哲学难免失之笼统.需要推敲给予明确的问题是:作为哲学范畴的过程应作何界说?以过程标志某一种哲学的根据是什么?与此相关相对的实体和实体哲学又当如何理解?实体哲学怎样过渡到过程哲学?弄清楚这些问题,也许会为当前的哲学论争提供有益的启示.
Engels once pointed out: “The world is not an assembly of immutable things but an assembly of processes.” It is a “great basic idea.” He believes that “this great basic idea,” especially since Hegel, Has been “deeply rooted in the consciousness of the common people.” Thus, we are often accustomed to calling the mainstream philosophy in modern times, especially the modern one, the “process philosophy,” while the term “substantive philosophy” summarizes the essential features of this philosophy The two categories mark the general ignorance of the two philosophies that need to be consid- ered to give clear questions as to what is the process of philosophical categories and what is the basis for the process to mark certain philosophies? How to understand the substantive philosophy? Entity philosophy how to make the transition to the process of philosophy? To clarify these issues, may provide a useful inspiration for the current philosophical debate.
