Joseph Burrell was born in 1938 and lives in Colorado. Is a Scottsdale artist workshop school teacher. From painting more than thirty years. He studied famous artists such as Bob Lothide and Richard Schmidt. He travels to Mexico, Europe and North Africa. Topics include landscapes, still life, people, animals, cityscapes. The work’s distinctive light, color and atmosphere showcase its magnificent Impressionist style based on his direct observation and rapid capture of nature, particularly the watercolor depictions of Italy, Spain and the Mediterranean. Its light and color reflect the versatility and openness of realism and naturalism.
