On October 19, 1950, the Chinese People’s Volunteers marched across the Yalu River to North Korea and began the famous war of resistance to the United States and Korea. Today, more than 50 years later, we have selected 14 little-known photos from the photographs of former native Wells Volunteer Corps Seven’s Assistant Director Lu Weiru to commemorate that war and all the Chinese soldiers who bravely fought in that war . The photographs were taken from July 1951 to September 1953 at the front line in North Korea. Through these precious black and white images, we were able to walk into that field of war and feel war, breathing, joy, pain, hardship, sacrifice, honor or everything during that time. We thank the photo providers and are willing to read that period with our readers.
