商标翻译在全球经济一体化进程日益加速的今天是各类产品打开国内外市场的重要营销策略之一。通过对比分析英汉动物词汇的隐喻认知意义,从认知语言学中最佳关联性的角度探讨了动物商标翻译中存在的问题和翻译策略,明确最佳关联理论可以使动物商标翻译将不同的动物文化内涵与产品本身的特点、目标客户等有机结合起来,实现商标价值最大化。
Trademark translation is accelerating today in the process of global economic integration. It is one of the important marketing strategies for various types of products to open domestic and overseas markets. By comparing and analyzing the metaphorical cognitive meaning of English and Chinese animal lexicons, this paper explores the problems and translation strategies in animal trademark translation from the perspective of the best relevance in cognitive linguistics.
