消费信贷是商业银行对消费者个人发放的用于购买住房、汽车等耐用消费品,或者支付其他费用的贷款。这种贷款是第二次世界大战以后兴起的,目前已成为国外商业银行的一项重要资产业务。近几年来,我国四大国有商业银行都先后开办了个人住房贷款、汽车贷款、助学贷款等消费信贷业务。固然在一定程度上刺激了现期消费,扩大了内需和促进了经济发展。但是,也存在一些影响和制约消费信贷发展的不利因素,使消费信贷一直处于“低温”状况。在现阶段如何改进和发展消费信贷?本文拟作一些探析和思考,期望抛砖引玉。
Consumer credit is a loan issued by commercial banks to consumers for purchasing durable consumer goods such as housing, automobiles, or other expenses. The loan, which emerged after World War II, has now become a major asset business for foreign commercial banks. In recent years, China’s four state-owned commercial banks have successively set up consumer credit businesses such as personal housing loans, auto loans and student loans. To a certain extent, it stimulated the current consumption, expanded domestic demand and promoted economic development. However, there are also some unfavorable factors that affect and constrain the development of consumer credit, so that consumer credit has been in a “low temperature” condition. How to improve and develop consumer credit at this stage? This article is to make some analysis and thinking, expecting to start a discussion.
