新的高中政治教学主张面向全体学生,让所有学生在政治学习中除了掌握必要的高中政治知识,还要形成良好的道德观念与道德行为。但是目前,许多高中政治教师在组织政治教学时,只重视学生的政治知识学习而轻视了学生道德行为的养成,造成了许多高中学生平时只是死记硬背政治知识,政治学习的意义成了在考试时拿到好成绩而已,这种教学思想与新课程理念背道而驰。学生来自于不同的家庭,他们的学识背景与个性特征完全不同,在高中政治学习时就会出现不同的情况。有的学生喜欢这门课程,而有的学生不喜欢,有的学生很快就能掌握所学内容,而有的学生却做不到。
