The significance of introducing typical sensor experiment as college physics experiment teaching is discussed. Taking the capacitive sensing element as an example, the experimental principle, method and experimental results of measuring the liquid surface height of the conductive liquid and the concentration of the polar liquid medium (such as ethanol) mixed with the non-polar liquid medium (such as gasoline) are described
