一棵小小的树上,却生长着各式各样的仙人球,或长或圆,或挺或垂,是不是很有意思?笔者谓之“仙人球树”。仙人球树是以叶仙人掌为砧木与仙人掌科植物嫁接而成的。通过实验观察,叶仙人掌具有生长旺盛、抗逆性强、易栽培、好管理等优点,可与仙人掌科多种植物嫁接。经过3年的培育,现在有的已嫁接了5～6个品种,兼具红、黄、绿等多种颜色。有的红仙人球似龙头,像鲜花;有的嫁接黄瓜掌、葫芦掌等,半年就长了半米左右,如挂满架的黄瓜,非常喜人;有的是混合嫁接,长得像鲜果奇树,堪为花中一绝。一、叶仙人掌的特点 1、易栽培、生长快、根系发达,生长速度是普通仙人掌的数倍。 2、适应性强,栽培成活率高。一年四季均可栽培。以扦插为主,枝叶均可插活,只要土壤、水分、温度等条件适宜,5～7日便能生根成活。 3、枝繁叶茂,株形优美,具有较高的观赏价值。
