Semen of 12 fertile men was suspended in glycerol egg yolk, and then each semen was divided into 4 parts, and the temperature was lowered from room temperature to -196.5°C at different cooling rates to investigate the mechanism of sperm membrane damage during freezing. It was found that the changes in the total antioxidant activity of seminal plasma in different cooling rate groups were very poor
