On July 26, the first president forum of mechanic and technical colleges in China was held in Sanya, Hainan Province. This forum was sponsored by Guangdong Sanxiang Vocational Training Institute and co-organized by Sanya Senior Technical School in Hainan Province. Zhang Lixin, director of the Occupational Capacity Building Division of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare, Zhai Tao, deputy director of the Department of Technical Education and Management of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Welfare, and 106 representatives from 63 technical colleges and universities attended the forum. The forum centered around the theme of the reform and development of mechanics and technical colleges, and taught the principals of all mechanic and technical colleges
