From the power considerations, the use of suppressed coherent detection carrier communication is beneficial. In this paper, we analyze two methods of generating the relevant reference for demodulating the suppressed carrier signal, namely, the square-loop method and the mathematically equivalent Costas-ring method, some of which involve the noise-to-noise of the VCO and the initial frequency offset Impact analysis. In this paper, the steady-state phase error probability distribution is given, that is, the first-order loop lockout for the first time. The error probability of a coded or non-coded telemetry system that uses a square loop to generate a coherent carrier reference is studied in order to select the correct system parameters.
