Today, 90 years after the use of X-rays in medical diagnosis, a new instrument will change our ability to recognize diseases of the internal organs of the human body. This device, called the Magnetic Scanner, will provide information about the human body that current brain scanners and body scanners can not provide. Unlike existing instruments, this new device does not use X-rays and is therefore safer for patients. The usual scanners are flat because they can not change the direction of the X-rays. Magnetic scanners, however, can show the side or back of a human lesion, for example, it can show a variety of different views of the kidney damage, check its various sides. When examining soft tissues with a normal scanner, doctors often have to use contrast media so that individual organs can not transmit X-rays.
